What we collect

When you open an app page or start a download, we record a minimal analytics event: the app you viewed, whether it was a page view or a download, an anonymous visitor identifier stored in your browser, your approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address), your browser’s user-agent and the referring page. We use this to understand which software is popular and to keep the catalog working.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, email or payment details to browse or download, and we do not sell personal data. We do not build advertising profiles.

Cookies & local storage

We store a random visitor identifier in your browser’s local storage so repeat visits are counted once rather than many times. We also remember your cookie-consent choice. See our Cookie Policy for details.

IP addresses & location

Your IP address is used to resolve an approximate country and city and to de-duplicate traffic. Geolocation is performed via a third-party lookup service and cached. We retain analytics rows for operational reporting.

Your choices

You can clear the visitor identifier at any time by clearing your browser’s local storage, and you can decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner. To request removal of data associated with you, email admin@softhvn.xyz.
